सप्तऋषि आश्रम एक महान संस्था

हरिद्वार स्थित सप्तऋषि आश्रम एक महान संस्था — सनातन धर्म प्रतिनिधि सभा — का मुख्यालय है, जिसकी स्थापना पंडित मदन मोहन मालवीय जी ने की थी। इस संस्था का एक संरक्षक (पैट्रन) होने का सौभाग्य मुझे प्राप्त है।

इस आश्रम का आध्यात्मिक वातावरण दिव्यता से भरा हुआ है। पवित्र गंगा यहाँ अनेक मंदिरों के बीच से प्रवाहित होती है, जो पूरे क्षेत्र को आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा से सराबोर कर देती है। यह संस्था शिक्षा, भारतीय ज्ञान परंपराओं और संस्कृति के संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन के लिए समर्पित है।

यहाँ सादगीपूर्ण जीवन, विलासिता से दूर रहना, अपने आप में शरीर और मन दोनों के लिए एक शुद्धिकरण की प्रक्रिया है। हरिद्वार को स्वर्ग का द्वार कहा जाता है, क्योंकि जीवन के अंतिम चरण में हम में से अधिकांश यहीं आते हैं और यहीं से अगले लोक की यात्रा प्रारंभ होती है।

तो फिर क्या यह अच्छा नहीं है कि हम उस अंतिम मार्ग से पहले ही परिचित हो जाएँ, ताकि भौतिकता की शून्यता से भरे एक भ्रमपूर्ण संसार में ही जीवन न बिताते रहें?

Saptrishi Ashram Haridwar is the headquarters of a great organisation founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya – Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha. It is my profound honour to work as one of its Patrons. Divinity permeates its spiritual environment while the pious Ganga flows through number of temples dotted all over. Dedicated to education, Indian knowledge traditions and culture. Staying there away from luxury in itself a cleansing process, both for one’s body and mind. Haridwar is the gateway to heaven, since most of us end up there, and go over to the next world. Isn’t it good to be familiar with the ultimate path, so that one doesn’t continue to live in fool’s paradise full of nothingness of materialism?
